The rectangular panel depicting a wintery landscape with a boy being taught to fire a bow by his father while female attendants look on, in an extensive landscape with a pagoda and village beneath a rocky outcrop, in a later giltwood frame of George III style, carved overall with rockwork C-scrolls and acanthus, the pierced cresting with cenral imbricated pagoda above an ogee arch and confronting C-scroll apron, the giltwood frame modern and signed to the reverse W.
