The oval design centred by a citrine intaglio depicting Kurfürst Wilhelm II von Hessen-Kassel, surrounded by a row of green circular-cut gemstones (probably synthetic spinel) alternated by nine half-pearls, the reverse with inscription "Kurfürst Wilh.II v. Hessen-Kassel, 28.7.1777 - 12.9.1847"
