The three gold nymphs standing in a flower field set with diamonds, a demantoid garnet and a ruby with a greenish to grey plique-à-jour background in a diamond-set border centred by a diamond collet and pear-shaped pearl tassel, on a detachable gold chain.
The pendant with initials J.D., probably for Emanuel-Jules Joë Descomps, (1872-1948), in fitted case of Tiffany & Cie, Paris

Emanuel-Jules Joë Descamps was an important Paris sculptor, medallist and engraver, who adapted particularly well to Art Nouveau. Little is known about him, exept that he trained thoroughly, specializing in gold work, with the firm of Falguières. His main skill lay in sculpted and engraved goldwork which he combined with enamels
