The rectangular top above a pair of doors decorated sans traverse with a watery landscape with temples, pagodas and mountains beyond, within a simulated nashiji outer border, the hinges and escutcheons elaborately engraved with stylised flowerheads and with bird's head terminals, the doors decorated to the reverse with bamboo and birds and exotic flowers and enclosing a fitted interior of ten variously-sized nashiji-lined drawers, each similarly decorated with bamboo and temple landscapes, the sides with carrying-handles, on a later ebonised stand, restorations and refreshments to decoration
