A JAVANESE BRONZE FIGURE OF VASUDHARA, seated in virasana on a lotus-base, on a large shaped rectangular base, the front moulded with three vases of abundancy, her principle hands in varadamudra supporting a triangular-shaped ornament and holding an ear of rice flowering along the aureol, the upper hands holding akshamala and probably a manuscript, wearing dhoti engraved with bands of alternating flowerheads and geometric motifs, upavita, many body-ornaments, three-leaf tiara, her face with downcast expression, high jatamakuta, a flaming circular aureol behind, traces of green and malachite patina, 8th/9th Century
