The arms are those of Nassau quarterly and Prussia accolee. cf. D.S. Howard, op. cit., p.699. The author states that the service was made for William V, Prince of Orange, who married Princess Frederica Sofia, daughter of Prince Augustus William of Prussia. It is probable that the service was made on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his accession or for their wedding in 1791 or 1792. The Nassau arms are encircled by the Garter ribbon
