A number of comparable drawings in this technique by Rutgers are known in the Collections of the Prentenkabinet, Leiden, the Fondation Custodia, Institut Néerlandais, Paris, the Metropolitan Museum, New York (inv.no. 58357), the Boymans-van Beuningen Museum, Rotterdam and in the P. & N. de Boer Foundation, Amsterdam. Most of these also represent views along the Vecht, where several members of Rutgers' family had country houses
