marks illegable, probably Northern Europe, circa 1880

On raised and spreading base decorated with foliage and strapwork over a matted ground, the lower section of the body with a fluted band between a beaded band and a laurel wreath band and continued to the upper section, the centre partly decorated with foliage and strapwork, the stepped and domed cover with similar decoration and applied with a coin, with double-scroll handle and thumb-piece - 23.5cm high (985gr)
