etchings with aquatint, 1937, the pair, on Chine collé sur Japon impériale, signed in pencil and numbered 77/150 (there was also a numbered edition of 850 with the stamped signature on Montval laid paper), with full margins, with text, loose with original silk paper interleave in the original firm wove paper folder with title lithograph, wrapped in silk paper, B.297 with two very small waterstains in the edge of the right margin, few soft creases, very few tiny spots only visible on the reverse lower edge, B. 298 with some slight surface dirt in the lower right corner also affecting the lower part of the image, two spots of residual glue on the reverse (one just showing through), minor paperscuffing in places along the reverse edge, very few soft creases, both otherwise generally in very good condition, the paper folder with minor defects, the silk paper wrapping torn and creased in places
