This decanter belongs to the last important series of glass-ware which Copier designed in 1962-1963. The so-called 'A.D. Collection' comprises, decanters, goblets, tumblers, candlesticks, ashtrays, bowls, vases, a knifrest and an abstract object. The objects are built-up And from spheres, cylinders and cubes. The collection was first shown at the retrospective exhibition in 1963 in the museum Boymans-van Beuningen in Rotterdam
