TWO PART-SILVERED FANS, ONE WITH BONE STICKS, THE OTHER WITH MOTHER-OF-PEARL STICKS

The first with guard sticks and sticks pierced with figures and arabesques, some of the sticks with oval reserves painted with flowers, the leaf painted in watercolours with figures, a dog, a sheep and a goat within a landscape enhanced with gilt scrolls, the second larger example with guard sticks and sticks pierced and part-gilt with birds and flowering plants, fitted with a later leaf painted with roses, carnations and blossom and with a pendant tassel, in a cardboard box (2)
