On three foliate scroll feet, the mainly plain bombe body decorated with an engraved foliate band, the openworked handles decorated with foliate C-scrolls, the plain domed cover with moulded band and with foliate double bud finial - 15,5cm high 477gr

This sugar-pot has been marked on the cover and pot with a crowned 15, which is unknown for Strassbourg and may indicate a higher grade of silver.
