THE DUTCH PORCELAIN COLLECTION OF THE LATE DR. DIRK ARNOLD VAN KREVELEN, THE HAGUE The late dr. Dirk Arnold van Krevelen (1909 - 1979) was an eminent children's psychiatrist and lectured at the universities of Leiden and Saragossa. He spent a great deal of his life in Albenga, Italy and was very much interested in Dutch porcelain about which he wrote various articles in the Mededelingenblad van de vrienden van de nederlandse keramiek. He collected objects of all the Dutch porcelain manufactories. A part of the Weesp porcelain was bequeathed to the Weesp museum by his widow some years after his death. The remainder of the collection will now be presented to the public.
