Lot Essay

cf. A.L. den Blaauwen, Loosdrecht porselein, p.64 dixit: Dominee de Mol asked Gerverot to manufacture porcelain in the empty workshop in Schrezheim in 1773 or 1774. Only eight pieces marked with a lion are known to be in existence.
