A CHELSEA SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPER modelled as a vegetable and fruit vendor, the standing peasant woman wearing white scarf, purple jacket, yellow skirt and holding a bunch of vegetables in her left hand, a hod filled with vegetables on her back, the stopper modelled as a cauliflower, on green domed base the underside gilt with a flower-spray within a gilt dentil rim (minor chips to stopper, restoration to base and stopper), 7.5cm. high; and another modelled as a seated woman holding a basket of flowers on her head and with her right arm round a standing child, wearing tricorn hat, the base gilt with a flower-spray within a green dentil border (restored through waist, stopper lacking), 7cm. high, circa 1760 (2)
