A MEISSEN THIMBLE painted with harbour scenes with merchants on quaysides before distant shipping within two gilt line ogival cartouches on a pink and puce diamond-pattern ground below a gilt line, the biscuit upper part with indentations and the interior richly gilt (very slight rubbing to gilding on lower rim), circa 1745
