A BÖTTGER SILVERGILT-MOUNTED CHINOISERIE PEAR-SHAPED HOT-MILK JUG AND COVER with S-scroll handle and pinched gilt lip, similarly decorated to the preceding with an Oriental and an attendant beneath the spout and another standing beside an altar beneath the handle, the rim and spout with gilt C-scrolls and flowerheads, the domed cover with gilt button finial, the silvergilt-mounts with maker's mark of Elias Adam of Augsburg (minute chip to underside of footrim, minute rubbing to gilding of top rim and lip), blue enamel crossed swords mark to base and cover, circa 1725
