A MEISSEN GOLDCHINESEN BOWL gilt at Augsburg in the Seuter workshop with an Oriental riding an elephant and two figures playing with a child standing on a table and three further figures making tea and holding a fan and another wearing a long-eared hood among exotic flowering shrubs with a bird and a mythical hound in a continuous scene between broad gilt bands, the interior with a central circular gilt medallion and a broad band border edged with C-scrolls (minute chip to footrim), circa 1728
