Kändler, their plumage naturally coloured in tones of brown, black and grey, seated on oval basketwork nests to left and right, the edges applied with corn, feathers and straw (one cover with chip to edge and with tip of beak lacking, some very minor chipping to straw and feathers at edge of nests), blue crossed swords marks at backs beneath tail, circa 1743
