TWO FAMILLE ROSE COCKEREL RUBY-GROUND PLATE finely enamelled at the centre with two crossing and overlapping scroll-shaped panels, one panel of a dragon-fly flying above a cockerel standing beside peony-sprays, the other panel with a kingfisher perched on a blossoming branch, all reserved on an even ruby ground embellished with two chrysanthemum-heads (reverse with two holes drilled through base ring, small area with enamels rubbed), circa 1730-1740
