A NORTH INDIAN, PALA STYLE, BRONZE STELE OF A TIRTHANKARA AND AMBHIKA, both seated in lalitasana on a shaped base, the front moulded with four seated figures and an adorant, both holding a lotus-bud in the right hand, a child in the left hands, wearing pleated dhotis, many body-ornaments, the faces with almond-shaped eyes, urna, smiling lips, three-leaf crown and high chignons, oval halos behind, a tree in between moulded with a seated figure, greenish patina, 12th Century
