For a garniture of vases similarly decorated and acquired by the Louvre in 1984 see Musée du Louvre, Nouvelles acquisitions du département des Objets d'Art, 1980-1984, pp. 168-169, no. 98. By 1807 the manufactury of Dagoty was becoming increasingly important, receiving orders both from Versailles and Compiègne.
