AN OBLONG SILVER HOTWATER KETTLE ON STAND WITH LAMP
Voorschoten, maker's mark of J.M. van Kempen en Zn., 1905

The oblong stand raised on four reeded wooden ball feet, the rising centre fitted with a reeded lamp, the two supports applied on either side with a reeded oval motif centred with a stylised star, the plain kettle with oblong base and plain curved spout, the waisted neck applied with a partly wooden bracket swing handle, the cover domed and with reeded circular wooden finial, the whole decorated with reeded rims - 40cm high (1880gr)
