A GERMAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER CENTRE PIECE
possibly Hanau, also struck with Edinburgh import marks, probably late 19th Century

The large lobed and fluted shaped circular bowl supported on four floral and foliate-pierced quatrefoil feet, each with short stem modelled as St. George slaying the dragon, the centre of the bowl applied with a large gilt medieval huntsman, a stag, a lizard and a frog and with a foliate border, the bowl with a parcel-gilt foliate border 52cm wide (7000gr aprox.)
