A SHAPED OBLONG SILVER INKSTAND Amsterdam, maker's mark and atelier's mark of A Bonebakker & zoon, 1872
Raised on four shaped circular feet, the tray with shaped spreading rim cast with foliate sprays and scrolls, the centre engraved with a presentation inscription in Dutch and applied with a shaped oblong wafer box with cover surmounted with the figure of Mercury, flanked on either side with a glass inkpot with silver cover, with foliate handle and similar pen rest - 27cm long (955gr)
