Paris, maker's mark in lozenge ML with flag above and a bird below, (unrecorded), 1809

Of oval form, the raised base and body decorated with bands of anthemion to the rims, the body applied on one side with an oval plaque depicting Neptune and on the other side Venus, both flanked with foliage, with curved wooden handle and similarly-shaped spout terminating in a sea-horses' head, the slightly domed cover applied with a bud finial - 20cm high (849gr)
