the knives, probaly Paris, circa 1790, struck in full on each blade, Lony above a bird, the salts with maker's mark of Louis Wolfers, Brussels, circa 1880

The knives with tapering shaped oval ivory handles stained in lime-green and applied with reeded silver mounts to the terminals, with plain blades, the salt cellars shaped as shells and standing on spreading circular base - the knives 19.5cm long
