The seven piece gold and amethyst parure comprising a graduated gold and amethyst necklace, the stones oval-shaped and claw-set, a pair of two stone gold and amethyst ear-pendants, the pendants claw-set with pear-shaped stones, a filigree gold brooch centered by an oval-shaped claw-set amethyst, a pair of entwined gold bracelets, the front of openwork foliate design claw-set with three oval-shaped amethysts and a gilt tiara of openwork foliate design claw-set with two lines of oval-shaped amethysts, fitted case (7)

According to the owner this parure was a wedding present to the Jonkheer Carel Jan Julius Storm of 's Gravesande (1791-1853) and Anna Maria van Poppenhuisen (1798-1857) who married on the 1st of September 1821 in Marssum
