with oxcidised brass three-circle pattern frame, the polished brass arc signed and numbered J. Coombes, Devonport, 11083, inset silvered scale divided 5°- 0°- 155°, vernier inscribed H.M.D. Lowry, R.N. with clamp, fine screw adjustment, swivel magnifier and light diffuser, two mirrors, seven shades, sighting tubes, pin feet and fruit wood handle, contained within a fitted mahognay box with accessories, test certificate in lid for 1917, inset handles and securing hooks, the lid with brass plate further inscribed with owners name
