A 35.5cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve coloured printed paper gores and two polar calottes (North Polar calotte of irregular shape), the equator graduated in degrees, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and journey time in days, submarine cable routes with dates, the continents with nation states outlined in various colours showing towns, cities, mountains, rivers, the trans-Siberian railway, the Great Wall of China and other details (old abrasions, discolourations and repairs) raised on a baluster turned fruitwood column and plinth base with compass -- 61.5cm. high

If the hammer price of a lot exceeds €90,000 then the hammer price of a lot is calculated at 20.825% of the first €90,000 plus 11.9% of any amount in excess of €90,000.
