A 33cm. diameter terrestrial globe, made up of twelve coloured and printed paper gores, with polar calottes, the continents outlined in brown, green, red and yellow, principal railways shown in red, some mountain ranges shown, the oceans indicating currents and trade winds, some steamship routes, telegraph lines and cable routes shown, (old surface abrasions, repairs in the southern hemisphere, some paper loss) raised on a carved iron tripod stand, decorated with masks and lion's paw feet -- 55.2 cm. high
