Heymann made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the oceans with ocean currents, the continents with nation states variously coloured and shwing towns, cities and rivers, held within an octagonal horizon woth four quadrant supports, atop a bronze standing figure of Atlas on a wooden base -- 132 cm. high
