The cylindrical cup decorated with a portrait medallion of Prince Bagration en grisaille, inscribed in Cyrillic 'Prince Bagration-Imeretinskii' within a gilt frame, flanked by gilt stylised trophies-of-arms on white ground - the cup 2¾in. (7cm.) high (2)

Prince Piotr Ivanovich Bagration-Imeretinskii (1765-1812) was General of the Infantry in Russian Army and a hero of the 1812 Patriotic War.
