With chamfered serpentine top fitted with a central leather-lined writing surface flanked by panels inlaid with flower-sprays on green-stained grounds and in line borders, the frieze with velvet-lined slide in a green-stained border and with two side drawers each inlaid with flower-sprays and one partially-fitted with a silvered-metal pounce-pot, on slender cabriole legs headed by pierced foliate angles centred by cabochons and ending in foliate sabots, stamped twice in the frieze drawer l n malle, once indistinctly, and once jme, restorations, remounted
