The two enamelled revolving dials with both Roman and Arabic chapters inscribed twice ROQUE A PARIS, within an urn-shaped case with domed lid surmounted by a fruiting finial with central scrolling acanthus and flowerhead band issuing two double handles terminating in fruiting acanthus, on a later waisted foot with ribbon-bound fruiting laurel wreath, the pedestal with egg-and-dart cornice and ribbon-tied fruiting cornucopiae to each side with acanthus brace, on a square slate base, various losses and repairs to the fluorspar
