Circular, the border chased with an ovolo band, the large centre finely engraved with accolé coats-of-arms beneath King's crown within mantle, the mantle supported by two angels, the underbase engraved with large monogram LL beneath King's crown, with fleur-de-lys between, the border also chased with an ovolo band, each part with a space in the plinth for the seal ribbon - 12.9 cm diam., 3.9 cm high

This royal seal-box is engraved with the Grandes Armes de France et de Navarre on one side and with the King Louis XV's monogram on the other side.
