Rectangular box, the cover, base and sides set with sunburst motifs of wavy carnelian rays, interwoven by concentrical oval bands of striated agates, the lid centered by a nosegay of flowers in multi-coloured hardstones within an oval gold reserve, the sides with Greek key pattern rims of engraved silver and reeded brass, on carnelian bands, the gold mounts engraved and chased with a pattern of wavy bands -- 67 mm wide
