Rectangular case, the four blue-lacquered panels set with gold piqué stars and dots and framed by gold rope-twist bands, the two sides of the cover applied with gold inscription "SOUVENIR D'AMITIÉ", the base set with two oval historizing portrait miniatures of Gabrielle d'Estrées (1573-1599) and the Grand Dauphin (1661-1711); inside tablets and a pencil - 86 mm high
