Madame Marie-Anne Bernard, née Nicolas, wife of the lawyer and notary Nicolas-Joachim Bernard. She was the mother of Anne-Catherine-Honorine who married Count George-Axel Adelswärd and whose miniature by Augustin was sold in our London rooms on 19 March 1986, lot 318.
