A RARE ART DECO LACQUER, SILVER AND GEM-SET CIGARETTE TABLE BOX
The engraved silver exterior applied to the sides with a carved jade ring of floral motif set with cabochon coral and sapphire studs, the cover designed as two lacquer and dyed mother of pearl plaques depicting Chinese scenes, studded with cabochon ruby for the lights, cabochon moonstone for the moon, diamond collets for the stars and coral studs in the corners, the ebony hinges with jade plaque and cabochon coral terminals, the carved ebony stands of Chinese motif, wood interior, 1925, 19.7 x 8.5 x 6.0 cm.
