TWO SILVER MOUNTED SHIBAYAMA VASES
The body of rounded hexagonal form with six kinji ground panels decorated in Shibayama style with a vase filled with flowers, oganadori perched among flowering branches, the domed cover decorated with flowers shippo surmounted by karashishi playing with a ball, signed Masayoshi, and another of rounded hexagonal form, with six panels decorated with a hawk perched on a plum tree, the shoulder with six elephants, signed Shoetsu and impressed jungin (silver) mark, (both damaged and repaired), late 19th century
