AN IVORY TUSK VASE IN SHIBAYAMA STYLE
Inlaid in high and low relief with profusion of cherry, peony, hibiscus, wisteria and other flowers and a parakeet on a perch, the reverse with birds on flowering branches, the rim with silver filigree and the foot with engraved silver, mounted on a hexagonal roironuri ground base carved and lacquered in colour with flowers and foliage, (minor stains and cracks), signed Masayuki, late 19th century
