A circular iron Choshu tsuba pierced with the design of sheaves of rice, parts of leaves in gilt nunome zogan, signed Choshu ju Masasada, late Edo period (19th century), 7.3cm.; an iron mokkogata Namban tsuba pierced with the design of rain-dragons confronting a tama surmounted by a cross, gilt nunome zogan detail, early/mid Edo period (17th/18th century), 6.6cm.; and a circular iron tsuba pierced and decorated with a tiger above a waterfall, gilt detail, late Edo period (19th century), 7.4cm.
