A FINE EFU TACHI KOSHIRAE
The blade, iorimune, honzukuri, medium point (chu-gissaki), koshi-zori, forged with ko-itame, tsukare, tempered edge notare of nioi, ko-maru boshi, tang suriage, with two holes, signed Osafune Norimitsu saku and dated Bunmei ninen hachi gatsu nichi (1470), 64.5cm., in shirasaya.
The scabbard of deep gold nashiji with fourteen izutsu-mon in gold hiramakie, the fine copper gilt and nanako tachi kanagu further emblazoned with similar mon surrounded by vines, menuki in button form en suite, second half of Edo (late 18th century)
