NAGANORI TACHI WITH TACHI KOSHIRAE
The blade iorimune, honzukuri, small point (ko-gissaki), curve, very slender (koshi-zori), forged in ko-itame, tempered edge straight (suguba), with midare utsuri in places just beneath the shinogi, ko-maru boshi, tang suriage with four holes, signed Bizen kuni Fukuoka Sabei (Naganori), and dated Kagen ninen (1303), 67.5cm. in shirasaya
The tachi mounts, roiro-nuri scabbard decorated with stylized kiku flower and leaves in silver hiramakie, all tachi kanagu en suite in silver decorated with the same kiku design, Edo period.
