DEWA DAIJO KUNIMICHI KATANA
Iorimune medium point (chu-gissaki), curve (koshi-zori), very tightly forged itame, tempered edge notare with bright nie, very active with clusters of brilliant nie, yu bashiri and tama, chu-maru boshi, tang ubu with three holes, signed Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi, (1615-1655), 72.3cm., in shirasaya.
Accompanied by N.B.T.H.K. tokubetsu kicho certificate no.297853 and tokubetsu kicho certificate no.550172.
Kunimichi was the brilliant student of Horikawa Kunihiro. His later work often exceeded the excellence of his teacher.
