Two volumes, 2° (301 x 195mm [vol.I], 283 x 195mm [vol.II]). Titles within woodcut borders [McKerrow & Ferguson 68], woodcut initials, with five blank leaves in vol.II, final leaf with woodcut device in vol.II. (Vol.I lacking final blank leaf; vol.II lacks first 1-4, with one or two small wormholes in some leaves towards end; both vols. with a few marginal repairs.) Brown morocco, gilt and blind fillets with gilt centrepiece and corner pieces, spine gilt in compartments by De Coverley, edges gilt. Provenance: early ownership inscription on title of first volume very faded; Mount Stuart bookplate. GENERALLY A FINE SET.
