Cruveilhier was the first to occupy the chair of pathology at the Faculté de Medicine in Paris. This monumental atlas of pathology was published over a period of 13 years and contains inter alia the first descriptions of disseminated sclerosis, hypertrophic pyloric stenosis and ulceration of the stomach due to hyperacidity, as well as the earliest illustrations of multiple sclerosis, intercranial epidermoid, spinal meningiomas, etc. FIRST EDITION.
