2 volumes, 4° (284 x 225mm). Engraved titles, frontispiece and 80 plates and maps (16 by William Blake; 3 folding maps, one folding aquatint plate). (Most plates spotted; the 4th and 5th plates in the second volume with small holes, in the fifth affecting the image area; outer blank margin of N3 torn and neatly repaired.) Original boards with letterpress labels on the backstrip (backstrips sympathetically repaired, the majority of the original backstrip of vol.I and about half of the backstrip of vol.II laid down), both within a single modern cloth box. Provenance: George Quayle of Crogga and Castletown, Isle of Man (1751-1835, armorial bookplate and name-label).
