Autograph letter signed to M. de Segur, French Minister at St. Petersburg, Paris, 9 September 1785, acknowledging his kindness to M. and Mme. Du Clercq and their friends, and enlisting further protection for them, 2 pages, 4to; and a letter by William Petty, 2nd Earl of Shelburne (1737-1805) to Malesherbes, referring to M. de Sarsfeldt, and expressing his admiration (1775); LAFAYETTE, Marie Joseph Gilbert du Motier de (1757-1834). Autograph endorsement signed on a passport issued by the National Assembly for 'M. Palloy le Patriote', 24 June 1791, signed also by Alexandre Beauharnais and Lecarlier, one page, folio, seal; letters by the Duc de Biron (with a related memorandum), Anqetil-Duperron [Abraham Hyacinthe, historian], to Necker (1787), Langlet de Fresnoy, Lavalette, Dumouriez (as General in Chief of the Army of Belgium, 1792), a discharge for a member of the Swiss Guard (1785) and four other itmes, altogether 18 items, approximately 55 pages, various sizes.
